How do we get aid into the hardest hit places and into the hands of the people who need it the most? During the first few months, you could only drive in far before you ran into downed telephone poles, debris, trees, houses and cars that were blocking the roads. So we had to hike, walk, climb etc on foot going door to door and yelling from the streets to let people know that we were bringing help. The nights were pitch black.
